C.T.Gabbert Remodeling completely remodeled our 1950s kitchen. Wow, they did a good job. Our lead carpenter Kyle worked through any challenges that this older home threw at him and really made our new kitchen everything we hoped it could be and more. Devin designed my dream kitchen and Caroline help pick out finishes and kept us informed on progress on a daily basis. The Gabbert team made what can be a stressful situation work more smoothly for us. We would recommend them to anyone that has a remodeling project they want done right.

Kari was so easy and knowledgeable to work with in getting the project started and answered all my questions. She even spent a lot of time looking for the medicine cabinet closest to our old one. We are pleased with our total update and remodel of the bathroom in out 95 year old home. Now we can shower without fear of falling. And it’s gorgeous! They let us know what time they would arrive the next morning and were on time. They kept us up to date of what was going to happen and when and were very knowledgable and kind. They even gave our dog scratches when she “demanded”. When we’re ready to have our kitchen remodeled, they’re the ones we’ll call. Much thanks to Kari, Jeff and the team!

Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, Chuck worked closely with the Peoria Friendship House and local high school students, providing hands-on instruction on how to use tools, basic construction techniques, and the construction trade. His commitment to sharing these valuable skills goes beyond simple teaching, he is passionate about helping the youth develop life skills that are beneficial to their future careers and personal lives. As part of this initiative, Chuck invited students and other community members, like Rotarians, to work together on projects that directly benefit the local community. In partnership with Advocates for Access and Helping Hands, Chuck and the students built ramps for those in need, providing accessibility improvements for residents in Peoria. Chuck’s impact on the youth of Peoria and his impact on making a difference in the community is one of the reasons he is so deserving of the John Giavaras Community Service Award. We are grateful for his ongoing support and effort here in the community, we look forward to seeing the continued positive impact he will have in the future.

We are pleased with our new kitchen remodel by Gabbert. All of your staff were accommodating, pleasant, and respectful. Everyone cleaned up each day and communicated with us each day. The team was led most effectively with Jeff as lead carpenter. I felt most comfortable when Jeff was around; I learned to rely on him and respect him the moment he came on the project. Removing the dining room wall has made our kitchen so much more open, bright, and flexible for larger gatherings. Of course, the new lighter cabinets, all new appliances, new light flooring, Cambria countertops, and the backsplash help to brighten the room, as well! And yes, light celery green paint (versus wallpaper) added brightness too. Your team were able to maintain the dining room wallpaper and flooring which we appreciate that allowed for some cost-savings for us. Allowing us to add a sage green random backlash tile into the mix in our pearly white subway tile was also most appreciated. This did cause a delay for all of us, but the outcome was well worth the wait! I have hosted a gathering here recently and seated 16 people comfortably and the flow with our new island worked exceedingly well. They loved our kitchen! Keep up the great work!

I am so pleased with the siding job. I am pretty particular and I am completely satisfied with the end result. I paid a substantial amount more having you do the job because you came across as a person that pays attention to details and does everything the right way. This proved to be true. I was impressed with the extra measures that were taken to make everything weather tight and how the siding stayed perfectly level as it wrapped around the house. I was so happy with the quality of work that Alex and Rance did. They are a great and efficient team. I know from personal experience how important is is to have a good working partner to get the job done quickly and efficiently. It is definitely a team to keep around.

I am here to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of time and effort at Mount Hawley Cemetery. Joe did an excellent job, his commitment to enhancing the beauty and upkeep of this historic site is truly commendable. Volunteers like you play a vital role in preserving the cemetery’s significance and ensuring that it remains a place of reflection and remembrance for our community. Joe’s hard work of leveling the dirt and cleaning the area has not gone unnoticed. It is because dedicated individuals like Joe that we can honor and preserve the memories of those who have laid to rest at Mount Hawley. Thank you once again for your time and dedication. BIG THANKS to all of you did for us with our most recent renovation to our bar, MD’s Sports Bar & Grill. We wanted to give our sports bar a facelift and renew the bar top from an old, outdated and too tall bar top to something more eye appealing and functional. You did not let us down! A little history at first. We were fortunate to qualify for a City of Peoria grant that allowed us to do a renovation project in our bar that did not require any permits. The first person I thought of was Chuck, as we had gone to school together, I heard your awesome commercials all the time plus you had completed a total bathroom renovation for my brother, Mike Hammer. He could not say enough about how smooth everything went and how much he loved his bathroom. He went on and on about how creative you were, how professional your team was, and how flexible you were with last minute changes. We did have to get more than one estimate for our project, but we were sold with you after our first discussion about it. You understood our budget, our vision and brought it all to life. Our funds were limited, but you promised you would make it not only a great looking bar, but lower the height, trim it out so it’s one smooth top, and eliminate the edge that had caused many spilled drink in the past. We scheduled the 2 days for the renovation, and you team was on time and so professional. They kept us alerted to any progress, worked quickly and were so friendly and helpful in our knowing what exactly was going on and so conscientious to keeping the bar as clean as possible through it all. They cleaned up after each day and made sure we were happy with the end result. We were so anxious to see the final result and were so excited, thrilled and PROUD of the work that was completed. The bar looked outstanding! C.T.Gabbert have an amazing team and we thank you for helping us achieve our goals. We would not hesitate to hire you again for any project we need!

We knew when we signed on with Gabbert we were paying above market minimums for the work. We had expectations that went along with that. From that timeline, to the design, to the quality of the work and the quality of the people in our house for over a month, your team met and exceeded expectations on every point. It was smooth from start to finish, and we are grateful that we didn’t experience a headache at any point along the way. Kyle was a true pleasure to work with, he was on top of everything from day one. His suggestions to minor modifications throughout were appreciated and improved the overall design. The rest of the team was fantastic as well. Good vibes from the team, a timely completion, and a perfect basement for our family. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Happy to recommend them to anyone needing work done and if we need anything in the future, they will be hearing from us again.

I wish to commend the men who constructed my patio cover! Chris was a very hard worker and I would describe him as a perfectionist! Scott and Brian were also good workers. Every man who carried equipment and tools (Allen and Quinton and Kyle) were considerate and professional also. I am very happy with my bathroom and patio cover!
