Our lead carpenter Kyle worked through any challenges that this older home threw at him and really made our new kitchen everything we hoped it could be and more. Devin designed my dream kitchen and Caroline help pick out finishes and kept us informed on progress on a daily basis. The Gabbert team made what can be a stressful situation work more smoothly for us. We would recommend them to anyone that has a remodeling project they want done right.

Kari was so easy and knowledgeable to work with in getting the project started and answered all my questions. She even spent a lot of time looking for the medicine cabinet closest to our old one. We are pleased with our total update and remodel of the bathroom in out 95 year old home. Now we can shower without fear of falling. And it’s gorgeous! They let us know what time they would arrive the next morning and were on time. They kept us up to date of what was going to happen and when and were very knowledgable and kind. They even gave our dog scratches when she “demanded”. When we’re ready to have our kitchen remodeled, they’re the ones we’ll call. Much thanks to Kari, Jeff and the team!

Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, Chuck worked closely with the Peoria Friendship House and local high school students, providing hands-on instruction on how to use tools, basic construction techniques, and the construction trade. His commitment to sharing these valuable skills goes beyond simple teaching, he is passionate about helping the youth develop life skills that are beneficial to their future careers and personal lives. As part of this initiative, Chuck invited students and other community members, like Rotarians, to work together on projects that directly benefit the local community. In partnership with Advocates for Access and Helping Hands, Chuck and the students built ramps for those in need, providing accessibility improvements for residents in Peoria. Chuck’s impact on the youth of Peoria and his impact on making a difference in the community is one of the reasons he is so deserving of the John Giavaras Community Service Award. We are grateful for his ongoing support and effort here in the community, we look forward to seeing the continued positive impact he will have in the future.
